Not too easy, not too hard. I was worried the spring would be too hard or too easy, and the prairie dog wouldn't reset. We have over 100 rounds at this target, and it still is working as it should. Great price!

Standard velocity ammo only!
Falls back and pops right back up in a second. Perfect if you use standard velocity ammo. They merely scratch the paint which can always be touched up. But I tried some hotter stuff and they left some more permanent damage. Now that I know I have so much fun with it.
