Air Strike Pellet Gun Trap

Picked 2 up from my local tsc and my boys love it

Ok but you could clearly see that the box had been open and the paper targets were missing.Everything else is good.

This trap works very well for low velocity target .177 pellets. The two swinging steel targets are easy to see and respond nicely to pellets. The supplied paper targets were cut too small to fit the trap but printing targets onto card stock and cutting to exactly 7" X 9" works very well. The hits are somewhat noisey.When I tried this trap with a higher velocity .22 pistol the swinging targets became badly battered. The .22 pellets dented the back of the trap and many richchet out. This trap is NOT recommended for high velocity CO2 or hunting type guns!

For the price point it is pretty fun and fairly long lasting. The metal is not thick. I added a curtain behind the targets (old tee shirt sleeve passed through to the outside and duct taped on) to slow the BBs down. It works fine for my ~200fps spring pistols ~250fps pump rifles and ~400fps CO2 pistols and rifles. I don't shoot the full auto bursts at this since that would definitely push its limits.This Do-All trap target will shine as a garage or indoor plinking target for a Red Ryder spring pistol etc. It is not going to be the best choice for a full auto or a high fps air rifle (due to both ruining the metal box target quickly... and ricochets!). Choose accordingly. I do like it as a budget BB / pellet trap.
